Metafocus steel

The Metafocuses are works of art in solid, rusted steel. The sculpted front transcends the fireplace’s functionality, cleverly concealing a dead fire or slyly exposing the magic of a lit one. Each facade is uniquely beautiful, revolutionising traditional ideas about fireplaces, and numbered and signed by Dominique Imbert.

The six steel Metafocus models have a choice of fireplace fronts in forged rusted or raw polished steel. They may be sculpted or torch-cut. The outer doors are 15mm-thick and composed of hinged single or double doors. The inside door is made of heat-resistant glass. The hearth is made of steel and refractory bricks.

The firebox fronts can be supplied without a firebox. One-off fireplaces can be made to specific dimensions. Available in wood-burning or gas-burning models.
