Since the Gyrofocus, created in 1968, and the bronze Metafocuses, designed in 2003-2004, Focus has transformed itself from an artist's studio to an international business. All the models in the range have been created by Dominique Imbert, who set up his workshop in 1967 in Viols le Fort, a fortified village in the South of France.

The FOCUS range of contemporary fireplaces encompasses more than 50 models in total. For ease of use and low maintenance, most models can be installed as an open gas fire, using locally made gas burners.
